   Hi Susan,
   Just wanted to say how much I like your painting
   – the vertical composition, which suits a big sky/big land scene (especially with the curved “river” of fence posts leading the eye upward: gives the painting a really hopeful narrative
   -the interplay of realism and lovely abstraction (very neat composition!!)
   -the almost text-like marks of the tree trunks
   -just the overall sense of play and how it made me want to spend time “hiking up” this painting to “read” the message at the top :o)
